Why do American high schools give scholarships to international students?
In addition to the revenue factor, high schools in the U.S. love diversity. They know that foreign students can bring many benefits to their communities. Therefore, some of them are willing to privately invest in scholarships for foreign students beyond the funds provided by the Administration. For all of the prior is why, in many cases, foreign students could receive even higher financial aid than U.S. local students. Remember that scholarships are offered by schools, and not by Epro 360, but we will make sure you obtain the best possible scholarship deal.
We would like to share an example of an academic scholarship with you that we have provided to some international students in the past. Please remember that high schools do not provide athletic scholarships.
Example - Academic Scholarship for a Private High School:
(**) The main requirements are: TOEFL score of at least 61 points, and current high school GPA of at least 3.0.
Public High Schools:
Note that the amount of USD $ 6.500 needs to be paid to Epro 360. Epro 360 will be responsible for paying the different providers (public high school in case they require payment, families for accommodation and meals, local counselor, etc.). In addition to the prior, note that Epro 360 charges separately a fee for services rendered (same thing for private high schools). Click here to know more about services and fees.
