If you wish to attend a private high school in the U.S. you will need to obtain an F-1 visa. You will be eligible to enroll in a private U.S. high school if: - You are between the ages of 15 and 18-1/2 at the start of the program or not have graduated from high school. - You have sufficient financial resources for your stay in the U.S. Do not worry about this right now and forget all the rumors you may have listened from others regarding how expensive it is to study in the U.S. Epro 360 will analyze your situation and let you know exactly what these resources should be. - You have a residence outside of the U.S. to return to upon completion of the program in the U.S. - Maintain lawful immigration status while in the United States by keeping a valid passport at all times, not working without authorization, and leaving the U.S. upon expiration of the visa or securing extension of stay if necessary (CSIET Website, 2014).
While it is true that we have partnered with some high schools that offer scholarships to foreign students who meet their specific criteria, you need to understand that unlike universities, most high schools do not offer scholarships. However, we are sure we can find many options that will fall within your budget and will help you achieve your dream to obtain a High School diploma in the U.S.
Our team will analyze your profile (e.g. academic background, financial affordability, study areas of interest, preferred cities or areas, preferred type of high school (e.g. private, boarding, etc.) and offer you a listing of alternatives, mainly from partner high schools, which we have made agreements with and that offer the best value for your money. We will ensure that all these high schools alternatives offered to you are aligned to your profile and goals. We will give you plenty of time and provide you as much support as you need so you can analyze the alternatives given to you and choose the high school that better suit your needs. We are open to any suggestions that you may have. For instance, if you know the high school you would like to study, we will make sure we obtain the best agreements from this high school.
Remember that, since its conception, the U.S. has always been a country that has embraced the arrival of immigrants. The U.S. Government knows that foreign students are an incredible resource to keep the success of the country. Therefore, the federal and state administrations gives financial benefits to educational institutions, mostly universities, to help them provide scholarships to foreign students, who want to continue their studies in the U.S. In addition to the revenue factor, universities in the U.S. love diversity. They know the many benefits that foreign students can bring to their local students, their communities, etc. Therefore, some of them are willing to invest in scholarships for foreign students beyond the governmental funds aimed to this purpose. For all of the prior is why, in many cases, foreign students receive financial aid easier and in higher amounts than the U.S. local students. Remember that scholarships are offered by universities, and not by Epro 360, but we will make sure you obtain the best possible scholarship.
This report is one of our many end products of the work we are going to be doing together. After your assigned Ambassador has held an interview with you, has compiled documentation (e.g. application forms), and has analyzed your situation and goals, he will transfer your case to our representatives who are physically located in the U.S. Our Epro 360 members in the U.S. will work diligently to understand your profile with the final purpose of finding you the high school that best fits your current situation, needs, and future academic and professional goals. In the future agreement that we will make, we will agree to the number of high school options and the approximate costs that we will offer you. We aim to provide a better service than any other competitor and this is why we will research among the thousands of high school in the U.S. and eventually offer you, not only the alternative to study in one of our partner high schools, but also the alternative to choose from non-partner high schools that could also fit your needs. We know it may sound like a complicated process, and this is why we will provide you with more details during the process so you are always informed and know in advance the next steps we are going to be making together.
Please note that the federal government has imposed several additional restrictions to those foreign students who wish to enroll in public high schools. These are as follows, - The foreign student will have to demonstrate, to the appropriate educational agency, which will reimburse and will have reimbursed the cost to study in the public school, which cost for local student is funded by local, state, and federal governments. The U.S. Law does not allow public high schools to provide any scholarship to foreign students. - The aggregate period of the foreign student enrolled in a public high school cannot exceed 12 months. We encourage our applicants to choose among the thousands of private high schools across the country. However, if you still decide that you want to apply to a public high school, we will be glad to help you.
Absolutely! First you need to know that most of our successful foreign students who came to the U.S. knew little English. Of course, the more English you know prior to apply to our Program, the better, but please keep in mind that this is not a requirement to participate in our Program. We will evaluate the score of the English exam that you take (currently high schools are very flexible and allow taking different kind of exams such as TOEFL, TOEFL Junior, SLEP, etc.) and offer you the best partner high schools that would accept your score. If your English exam score is below any of the scores required by any of our partner high schools (from our experience the minimum score is around 61 out 120), Epro 360 will offer you scholarships, offered by many high schools across the U.S., to participate in an ESL (English as a second language) Program.
An ESL Program is an excellent idea to help you obtain the English exam score required to start your high school program and start familiarizing yourself with the U.S. educational life. This is also an amazing opportunity for you in case you are not sure whether you want to study a High School program or you just want to improve your English skills and go back home. The cost of a semester to participate in an ESL Program is usually lower than a High School Program. You can find out more information about our ESL Programs. Once your English has reached an acceptable level you can apply to the High School Program of the High School you have chosen, and always with the help of Epro 360.

The Epro 360 Network’s final goal is to help you become successful in the U.S. through a comprehensive menu of valuable extracurricular development services. These include, but are not limited to, resume revising, personalized online marketing, internship offerings, mentorship and coaching services, etc. You will have access to professionals specialized in your area of study and future expertise. These mentors and coaches will respond any questions you may have related to general areas of knowledge (e.g. leadership, entrepreneurship, self-discovery, etc.) in addition to your area of study, and more important, they will share their connections, personal career advices, and their previous experience as foreign students in the U.S. with you. The Epro 360 Network will also offer you the opportunity to interact with local U.S. people who believe in our philosophy of shaping the next generation of global leaders. You decide who to contact, but they will be there to help you learn as much as you wish about the American culture and much more. This is an enormous addition to simply “dropping foreign students off” at their chosen high school or university, which we believe it is an outdated approach used by the competition. Epro 360 is definitely more than a placement service and we are looking forward to proving this to you.
Unlike undergraduate or master’s degree and fortunately for high schools international students, the process to transfer 100% of the courses passed in your home country is really easy and straightforward. In essence, if you are 17 years old or younger and you have not repeated any school year, you will be placed by the U.S. High School with U.S. high school students that are your same age.
If you decided to go back home prior to starting your university degree, you would need to personally contact your closest local Epro 360 representative. One of our representatives will provide you with some information and steps you would need to follow in order to ensure that you do not lose any of your high school courses that you have passed in the U.S. Based in our experience in different countries, we found that it is neither difficult nor complicated to transfer courses gained in the U.S. to your local high school. However, each country and region of the world is different and you will need to work with your local Epro 360 representative to find the best solution.
As soon as you receive the scholarship report, you can start making a decision where you want to end up studying. As soon as you have made your decision, the Epro 360 team will immediately start compiling additional documentation, translate that documentation with the help of official translation agencies and obtain the documents that you will need to obtain your visa in the U.S. Embassy of your country. Your placement in the High School will probably happen in the next fall (August) or spring (January) semesters.
Most of the high schools that we have partnered with, offer international students the opportunity to live on their campus. Also, some high schools would allow you to live any relative that may live in the area as well. Some other high schools offer the possibility to live with local families. Just remember you provide us with your preference when you are completing your application forms.
Most high schools will require you to enroll in some of their core / mandatory study classes. For instance, math, science, English and / or American History classes. Of course, your U.S. high school will assign somebody who will help you choose your courses and your schedule.
You could perform almost any activity promoted by your high school or organizations affiliated with the high school. You could do almost any sport that you could imagine and surrounded by other foreign and local students.
All U.S. high schools charge an application fee that usually goes from USD 50 to USD 250 to those applicants (local and international) who want to submit their application to be accepted as students. We have been able to negotiate with most of our partner high schools the waiver of this application fee so you have one less thing to worry about. Even if you chose from the scholarship list, one high school that has not partnered yet with us and has not waived the application fee, again, we do not want you worry about extra costs and we will absorb that cost. Therefore, there should not be any additional hidden fees surrounding the application process.
Applicants need to provide verification that they have been enrolled in an accredited high school, no matter where in the world. You will need to provide us with the transcripts of your high school records that you have gained so far. Since each high school may work with a different translator agency before they can accept the translated transcripts, we will take the lead in the process and coordinate with the translation agency. We will also pay for the translation services so you have one less thing to worry about it.
U.S. regulations specify that international students with an F-1 visa may enter the United States no earlier than 30 days prior to the beginning of the university semester.
High School admission staff will decide whether your application is accepted or not. However, remember that before we send your application for admission to the High School you have chosen from the scholarship report, there are many different steps we will need to go through, which will increase our chances of your application being accepted. Epro 360 is in a perfect position to increase the chances of success in the admission process since we will perfectly know you as well as the high school that we will apply on your behalf.
We are pretty confident, based on our prior experience, our knowledge of the high school system, our partner high schools, and the comprehensive analysis we will do about your case, that you will be accepted in any of the high schools that we list in the scholarship report. However, as you already know, the decision is ultimately made by the High School. If the high school declines your application, we are fully committed to process as many applications as we need to get you accepted in any of the high schools we have offered you. Remember that before we can apply to the high school on your behalf, you will need to provide all the requirements we have requested you (e.g. letters of recommendation, affidavit of support, TOEFL score, etc.).
