Another unique aspect about Memrise is that it puts words into sentences with similar sounding words from your native language, to help you create associations for remembering them. 
It also has an offline mode so you can use it without wifi.

Busuu helps you to improve your English reading, speaking, and listening skills, with lessons personalized to fit your skills. Studies have also proven that using Busuu for 16 hours will significantly improve your elementary language skills. 
Busuu also has an offline mode to use without wifi.

Murphy’s English Grammar in Use
If your English is at intermediate level, Murphy’s English Grammar in Use can help you to polish your grammar. The Starter Pack includes six grammar units with Present and Past test exercises, with clear explanations and a Study Guide to help you choose which grammar units you need to study.

Learn English with Babbel
Babbel is a great app for those who want to focus on building vocabulary. Each lesson starts with vocabulary learning aided with pictures, and then the words are used in phrases and short dialogues to help you build conversation skills. The free version comes with 40 lessons, which means more free material than Busuu (although Busuu has a lot of free material too). If you want to focus on certain skills, Babbel has the option to practice just grammar or vocabulary skills.
